When I feel blue/in the night and I need you/to hold me tight...

Yes, this blog is about a Dream.

What I'd really like to do is start a group for writers and bring amateur literature into a whole new light. Having been a part of allpoetry.com for about a decade now, I can honestly say that, in that entire time, I've only encountered a handful of poets who I really thought were something. They've just got IT. You know? I guess you know IT when you read IT and for a long time, I didn't have IT, either. 

Hell, it's presumptuous on my part to think I have IT now.

I definitely think I'm getting closer. Aging helps. 

I imagine a place where creative people can go to inspire each other. It'd be a place that nurtured the arts because, in my experience, creation is hard when you don't have anybody to bounce off of. 

Maybe you reading this like to write

or used to write, but don't anymore.

Either way, it's something that's in you, but you don't know what to do with it.

I want to read you and feature you

and say, "Hey! This nobody is brilliant!"

And we can all be a bunch of 

Brilliant Nobody's. 

Anyways.

That's my dream for this evening.
